Problem

As an employee for The National Geographic Society, I was tasked with organizing the top explorers in a database for easy categorizing and searching. At the time, the Society was using Salesforce as a corporate CRM and database.

However, it was difficult to quickly filter top explorers and connect them to potential awards, speaking engagements, and grants.

Solution

I introduced Airtable, a cloud-based spreadsheet software, to the Explorer Community team. With Airtable, I created a database of the National Geographic’s top explorers and another database of awards and media exposure opportunities.
I was able to link explorers automatically
with the award or opportunity, based on the criteria for an award and media opportunity.

Due to this change, they were able to pull a list of recommended explorers in seconds. The Society took what I created in Airtable and integrated the same process in Salesforce, which is now being used company-wide.

Problem

Tapout Fitness needed a way for their team to complete a daily opening and closing procedure checklist. They asked that MOHJU create a Google Form and sheet to track the submissions. After getting a fuller understanding of what the overall purpose and goal was, it was determined that a Google Form wouldn't be the best solution.

Solution

MOHJU researched solutions that would be within the client's budge, scalable, and easy to adopt. I found Process Street, which is a simple, free and powerful way to manage recurring checklists and procedures.

After crash learning the software, I built the checklists, set up tracking, and provided a 45-minute live training to the owner and his staff.

This software will be able to scale with the gym and the owner can use it to set up training documents, questionnaires, and location-specific procedure workflows.

Problem

After launching Waves of Glory, a premier
women's resort fashion line, the owner was
struggling with a way to track her designs,
materials, and costs. She was invited to sell her clothes at a collective shop that required that she sends design details, prices, and photos of her upcoming collections. After many attempts in using different software, she found herself
annoyed and frustrated with the process.

Solution

I introduced Airtable, which allowed her to have one place to add her collections with photos, pricing, materials, and designs. She could filter and sort by any criteria she needed. With Airtable being a cloud-based software, the designer could send the spreadsheet and gallery to the collective shop while maintaining full control over what the shop could see and download. Everything was in one place and ready to showcase her work.

The collective shop was impressed by the organization and simplicity, that they adopted the use of Airtable and encouraged more of their designers to use it.

Problem

Waterkress Creative is a branding agency that was having trouble with automating its processes. The business took off faster than they had time to build a system, so everything was done manually with many different software to communicate with their clients.

Although they had a powerful project planning software, they didn't have time to set up a system to maximize the features because of their accelerated growth.

Solution

Waterkress hired MOHJU to not only learn their software, but to set up their workflows, automate emails, and track invoices and payments. I was able to create automated workflows that were dependent on the completion of interactions from their clients. Scheduling, project tagging, contracts, and forms, were all included.

Now Waterkress Creative no longer has missed files, confused processes, or stress with client communitcation.
